I had the opportunity to visit Emalene Manuel,
in ʔaq̓am and Cranbrook.
I went on behalf of Deanna Reder (The People and the Text)
to create a portable archive of Vera Manuel's work.
Our hope is that a new book of Vera's plays and poetry will soon be available,
edited by Michelle Coupal and Deanna Reder.
